February Meeting – Colorado’s Bumble Bees and How We Can Help Them
Thursday February 13th, 5:30 – 8:30pm: Learn about local bumble bees from Endangered Species Conservation Biologist, Amy Dolan. She’ll teach us about their role as pollinators, the threats they face, the diversity of species, their life cycles, and conservation efforts. There will also be information shared about the Xerces Society’s Mountain States Bumble Bee Atlas Project. For more information, please see our calendar.
This meeting will be shared with Mesa County Libraries and will be held in the Central Library Community Room at 443 N 6th St, Grand Junction, CO 81501.
Following the presentation, we will head across the street to finish the remainder of our program at our regular meeting place: the Universalist Unitarian Congregation Church, 536 Ouray Ave, Grand Junction, CO, 81501
Meetings are free and open to the public.
